What is Left?

HI! I want to start this by saying thank you for coming and reading my blog. This is all so new to me and that may sound weird to say since I have always loved writing. i just have not written in so many years. Blogging is completely new to me. I have never had an issue with applying what my heart feels on a piece of paper though. My first diary was around the age of 11; it had Lisa Simpson on the cover. I wrote in it every day until the pages were all used up.
My first poem was written in Junior High. I was a broken teenager that had no one to talk to about anything I ever went through. I remember Wednesdays were my favorite day of the week. I looked forward to going to church, it was my day to learn who God was, is and will always be. It was the only place I ever really felt loved. I needed and wanted to know Him. I recall every night at bedtime I would talk to Him until I fell asleep.
I have always had faith in God to help get me through all my pain. I still to this day talk to Him every day.
The pain I felt when I was younger was deep and is a part of the pain I still feel today. The difference in the pain from back then and the pain now is who and what caused what I still need healing from. The similarities in them all is LOVE, one love had/has me in tears, made me feel like I would be better off dead; I always felt that there is nowhere I really belong, just all alone and the other love had/has me smiling, laughing and feeling like I belong just as I am. With all I have been through in life, I sometimes stop and think, “What is left in the rubbish of my life” I am surviving with my fragmented heart. Slowly and steadily, I am finding a piece of who I really am, and I am always reminded of who God is, what He has done and what He continues to do.

This blog is a fragment founded through my faith in conversations with God to gather all the broken pieces in me, in others who also live with a fragmented heart to create one beautiful masterpiece by The Potter himself. After all, He is our ultimate creator, right? Who better to have help pick up the broken pieces or lead you to a piece you have been struggling to find, or what to do with the pieces when they’re found.
